• Asharqia Chamber and SABIC launch the first introductory lectures for Nasnaa program in the presence of a remarkable attendance of entrepreneurs

    On Monday December 24th, 2018, Asharqia Chamber, in partnership with SABIC, launched the first introductory seminar that aims to qualify young investors to establish their small and medium industrial projects through a package of completed training programs by establishing factories for graduates of the program, at the headquarters of the Chamber.

    The program aims at training 30 young people with the ability and efficiency to set up small and medium factories in an organized and professional manners.

     

    The first lecture was attended by the Chamber's Vice-President Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Boali, board members Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, Bandar bin Rafi al-Jabri and Saadoun bin Khaled al-Khalidi.

    It reviewed the technical and administrative skills and information needed, and the administrative, marketing, financial, legal and feasibility studies. Each participant who meets the requirements would receive a certificate of passing the training period.

     

    During the lecture, Dr. Wajih Maghriba, Senior Manager in the development of local employment in SABIC, talked about SABIC's intiative "Nosaned" to support the local content and to achieve the objectives of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, which supports the graduates of the program Nosaned.

    He also referred to the services that the registrar will have and which will have the opportunity to train on key elements that will end with the establishment of his own factory such as: types of accounting and accounting records, the Audit Balance and the Small Business Accounts Manual, financial indicators for measuring the profitability of projects, classification of assets and preparation of financial statements, as well as legal aspects, licensing procedures, contract drafting, procurement, marketing and sales and human resources systems.

     

    Maghriba, who chaired the group participating in the lecture from SABIC, said that the entrepreneur must have the passion to be a business leader to become successful in and distinct in the business sector and possess the basic rules in entrepreneurship.

    He stressed that SABIC is confident that it will serve local content through investment in youth rehabilitation to start their own industrial projects and achieve the goals of the Vision of the Kingdom 2030.

    Maghriba said that our goal is to qualify citizen who has the specifications to confirm its success in the future after undergoing training program.

    He pointed out that the entrepreneur will be following through partnership with SABIC in order to ensure its continuity and success.

     

    About Nasnaa program, Maghriba said that it seeks to secure income and a decent life through permanent employment, as it will provide multiple services during the meeting, during which the services of incorporation and funding.

    He pointed out that the trainee at the end of the program will be given professional certificate for the qualification of the industrial investor and is among the qualified to get support from the program of Nosaned in SABIC to build his own factory.

     

    The three-month program is starting in its first year in 20 January 2019 and will end on April 10, 2019, as it would be provided by a professional training team that is qualified and experienced to implement professional training programs, experts of the industrial investment environment in the Kingdom, and have the ability and the ability to follow the graduates of the program and provide them with the necessary advice and guidance after the start of the project and during the work phase.

    The trainees will undergo 200 hours training during the training period.

     

    The applicant must be a Saudi national with a minimum secondary certificate and a priority for engineering majors and has a serious desire to establish an industrial project and commitment to management and full-time, as well as those who have an idea and a plan for a viable industrial project that is capable of providing new jobs. ​
